After the success of last year’s inaugural The Bachelor Canada – former CFL player Brad Smith scored both a fiancée and an on-air gig at City – the casting call is now open for season two.
Bachelors and bachelorettes who are looking for love can submit their applications online at The Bachelor Canada Facebook page.
The nationwide casting call opened up on Monday and the cross-Canada casting tour begins in January 2014.
“Following last season’s successful fairytale ending for Brad and Bianka [Kamber], The Bachelor Canada has already proven itself to be a series with true heart,” Nataline Rodrigues, director of original programming at Rogers Media, said in a statement.
“This season, we look forward to meeting even more of Canada’s most vibrant men and women who are seeking the opportunity to find the love of a lifetime.”
The Bachelor Canada is hiring 25 women and one man. Filming is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2014 and the show will air in the fall.
Rogers Media is the parent company of City, CityNews and CityNews.ca.
